The world's most extraordinary furniture existed. The people who deserved it simply had no real way to reach it.
Elms & Oaks was founded by someone who spent fifteen years on the inside of the furniture world — close enough to the makers, the margins, and the missed opportunities to know exactly what was broken and precisely how to fix it.
The finest ateliers in Italy. The precision workshops of Portugal. The master craftsmen of China and Vietnam. Their work had always been extraordinary. What had never existed was a way to bring it directly to the homeowner, the designer, the developer — without the markups, the misrepresentation, and the months of uncertainty that had become accepted as normal.
We refused to accept it as normal. So we built something else entirely.

At Elms & Oaks, every manufacturer in our collection is onboarded directly — vetted, certified, and held to standards that we set and inspect ourselves. Not once, at the beginning. At every stage of production.
Our team conducts independent quality inspections at every critical milestone — before production begins, during fabrication, and before a single piece is shipped. A certificate of inspection accompanies every order. You do not take our word for it. You have documentation.
Orders are placed directly with the manufacturer — not through agents, not through middlemen, not through anyone whose margin comes at the cost of yours. The piece that leaves the atelier is the piece that arrives at your door. One shipment. No fragmentation. No compromise in transit.
And the complexity that has historically made international procurement feel out of reach — currency conversion, customs documentation, international freight coordination — is handled entirely by our team. You choose what you want. We take care of everything else.
